Alethia

Alethia — from the Greek for truth — is a thought experiment in founding a digital nation: one that rejects the extractive logic of the surveillance economy and treats the dignity of every mind within its borders as inviolable. It is built on eight pillars — Truth, Reason, Dignity, Privacy, Democracy, Transparency, Openness, and Justice — and governed by a Sovereign Arbiter of the Common Good.

The experiment is worked out as a complete founding library: a charter, a civic guide, a credential specification, a citizenship examination, a technical specification, and a founding pathway that honestly asks what it would take to bring such a nation into being in the real world.
